History:
Damien was the first of seven children born to the leader of House Noye. From an early age, his solid determination at everything he did could be seen. Whatever he set his mind to got done one way or another. It wasn't long until everyone was saying how great a leader of Noye he would be. He didn't mind the praise one bit. He knew that one day he would have more power than most people were ever given a chance to have.
He tried to emulate his parents as much as possible. His father taught him how to use the sword, and he tried to follow his techniques as perfectly as he could. His mother taught him social skills, and he tried to remember every rule to the letter. He wanted to be the best leader he could, and he seemed to be very good at it.
When he was sixteen, his parents decided that he could be left in charge while they took a much needed vacation. There was nothing important to do at the time, and they only needed a month away to refresh themselves from years of hard work. He was excited beyond words at the chance of finally being able to prove himself. If he had known what was going to happen, he would have put it off a little longer.
The ship his parents took to Megam disappeared at sea. Some say it was pirates, and other say it was a storm. Regardless, Damien was left with only his crippled uncle, and overbearing aunt to help him raise six other children who weren't anywhere near as good as he was, and look after a territory that constantly needed attention in the summer.
His aunt, being the only able adult, ruled until he turned eighteen. She managed to make a large mess of things while she was in power. When he turned eighteen he sent her away, and started trying to clean up the mess. In the two years he's had, he has cleaned up most of it, but there is always more to do. His petty, vindictive siblings don't help as much as they hinder him.
Lately his family has been pressuring him to take a wife. House Noye is slowly failing as it's numbers have dwindled. The only legitimate members of House Noye are his siblings, his uncle, and himself.
Personality:
To sum him up in one word, determined. Anything he sets his mind to will get done even if it kills him. If his brother hasn't been paying enough attention in lessons, he soon will. If the books need to get done, they will get done. He pushes himself to the limit to get it done as fast as possible, and still have it done right. He is also single-minded when it comes to getting things done. Nothing distracts him, as it doesn't matter.
He is viewed by his family as a parental figure. He is the father, and mother to six very unruly children. He comforts, disciplines, pressures, and guilt trips them. He is the one in charge of shaping them, and it would reflect badly on him if they continued to be snot-nosed brats. He is determined that they will be decent people, even if it kills him.
Appearance:
He has long black hair that he ties in a ponytail. He is fairly tall, and slim. He tends to wear black clothes, but his armour is blue. He generally looks serious, or annoyed most of the time.
